Chiaka Ibe
Biography
Chiaka Ibe is a current senior at Brown University concentrating in Health and Human Biology (Global Health). Her coursework has focused on understanding health crises around the world and their exacerbation by societal failures, such as poor administrative efforts, the growing refusal of vaccinations, and ever-complicated drug pricing policies. She serves as one of the Vice Presidents for the Brown Lecture Board and mentors students through Women in Science and Engineering, the Health and Human Biology DUG, and Biology Peer Advising. Chiaka is extremely interested in the role business plays in innovative healthcare delivery. Following graduation, she will work as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company and then matriculate to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She hopes to use her skills to dually act as a practicing physician and leader in healthcare access.
