Biography
Anthony is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Cincinnati and a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Fellow in the American Psychological Association's Minority Fellowship Program. Anthony's research interests include examining sociocultural factors and their associated mediating psychological processes (e.g., rumination, hypervigilance, distress tolerance) as they relate to mental and behavioral health outcomes among individuals from underserved communities Anthony's current work has focused on exploring underlying mechanisms of substance use and sexual health disparities among persons who hold multiple marginalized racial/ethnic and sexual/gender minoritized identities.
